These 10/2, 4200 yards per pound yarns are 100% mercerized cotton yarns, dyed specifically for Lunatic Fringe in their Tubular Spectrum™ 20 bright colors, black, white, 5 shades of gray and lots of new tints and tones. The colors are all vivid, intense, and very color fast. The yarns will withstand years of washing and will keep your handwoven treasures looking bright and colorful!
These mercerized cotton yarns are from Egypt because there is no mercerization available in the US. They have the colors dyed in the US after the yarn has been imported. The Natural White yarn is the natural creamy white color of the cotton itself, and it has not been dyed. Mercerized cotton yarn is the same as Perle cotton yarn.
